How does the Anoto Pattern Analyzer work?
The APA is a Digital MicroScope which captures a magnified area of the Anoto pattern as a digital image. This large resolution image is analyzed by a special Windows-Software, calculating characteristic values for evaluating the print quality.

Is it easy to use?
Yes. Just position the measurement device by hand on the printed sample. The measured section is displayed in high magnification on the PC screen. Press the green button on the device and the image is analyzed: All relevant data is displayed. Green and red markings show you if your print is in or out of the allowed tolerance.

How can I obtain software updates?
Simply by clicking on the download button on the right side. The folder contains the current software version.

What kind of maintenance is needed?
Basically the device is maintenance free. Just take care of cleaning the glass surface from time to time.
